Things you need to know before paddleboarding
When you have your own new paddle boards, are you eager to exercise? I think everyone can't wait to hit the water! But before you start paddle boarding, you need to know this knowledge.
How to dress for stand-up paddling?
The clothes you need to wear on a stand-up surfboard largely depend on the actual temperature and the probability of yourself falling into the water.
If the temperature is higher: In the warm summer, you can bravely paddle with your bare feet in a swimsuit. You can also wear water sports shoes or sailing shoes.
If the temperature is cold: When the temperature is cold, you may want to wear a diving suit. However, diving suits can only provide actual warmth when immersed in water. If you are a beginner and it is obvious that you may fall into the water at any time, this dress is a great choice. But if you rarely fall into the water, your diving suit will only be soaked with sweat and stick to your body.
Synthetic fabric selection: If you can already control SUP proficiently, and you are not expected to fall off the surfboard at any time, you can choose to wear a dry suit or other waterproof clothing. The trick to choosing is to try to layer your dress. A base layer made of synthetic fibers (such as polypropylene or polyester) can be selected. For the hydrophobic layer, choose fleece made of thick polyester fabric. Wear a waterproof jacket on the outermost layer to keep it completely sealed.
You will also want to put on pants! Synthetic leggings and a pair of waterproof legs keep you dry. If you like wading, please buy a pair of waterproof paddling gloves to keep your fingers warm.
